So, I bought some turkish delight today. A variety with almond slivers. But, I'll have to wait to try it until after I recover from the chocolate easter egg I just ate. Who'd have thought such a little yummy chcolate could be so rich (erp).

Being a frequent visitor to Turkey - the Turkish delight (of the eating variety) available in the western world, comes no where close to the authentic one (one which the mother of my friend makes at home)

Just checked the earliest posts coz I thought I
had linked to a recipe. I'm eat the stuff mostly because it doesn't contain gelatin, like most jellied sweets.
