Hi,
I am looking for the name of the branch of science that studies the repetition pattern in nature, and how it relates to everything else in the planet.
Thank you,
AE
Well, it is a correct answer, given your parameters.
No branch I ever heard of.

Not the parameter that it be a branch of science.
raprap, I don't think it has anything to do with numbers. Thank you anyway.

Cyclic fractals. Pattern recognition. Or possibly ... OCD.
CodeBorg,
That sounds interesting maybe, I have to look that up. What is OCD?, so I can look it up?
Some time ago I saw the last maybe fifteen or twenty minutes of a movie. In the movie there were several scientist walking around mountains, the beach, and talking about the pattern of repetition in nature. I could not get the name of the branch of science they were talking about because I did not see the whole movie, but I was so impressed that I have been looking for it ever since. It was not a science fiction movie.
Thank you,
AE
Numerically
raprap,
If many things in science today are being calculated numerically maybe you are right.
Thanks,
AE
I don't know CodeBorg, I saw so little of it. I noticed the scientist were very philosophical too. I will look and see if I can find Mindwalk, hope it is. What is OCD?
Thanks,
AE
Google for it! OCD =Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Cycles of habit, behavior, patterned obsession, security, comfort and thought.
Mindwalk
Yes! thats the movie, I'm going to order it. Please tell me more.
Thanks,
AE
Systems. It's not about the individual, but what a whole group of things
takes in, converts, produces, and exports
as a whole
. . . repeatedly, to continue and survive.
The individual conforms to the standard, and is blind.
How interesting, a poet, a politician, and a scientist.
So, Systems is what I'm looking for?
AE
Society tells you who to be.
But you are yourself.
