This thread is bigotry because it singles out American Families for hatred and fear based only on their ethnic group.

Consider how you would feel if you were singled out this way. I worked with a Muslim, a software engineer. He wife and two kids. They owned a house, liked software. He was interested in computer software and soccer. The only way that his religion impacted him at work was that he drank ginger ale when the rest of us went out for beers.

Consider the impact of Coldjoint's hatred and fear on Americans like this family.

1) Coldjoint says we should hate and fear this American family. He doesn't exactly say how this should effect them.

- Should they have trouble buying a house in White neighborhood because people are afraid of their religion?
- Should the kids face abuse at school because teachers and students fear and hate their religion?
- Should this impact the career of this engineer because employers and co-workers hate and fear their religion?
- Should Americans lose Constitutional rights based on Coldjoint's hatred and fear?

This hatred and fear does have these impacts, in a real way, on real Americans.

2) Coldjoint seems to love violence himself. He admits that "most Muslims are peaceful" ... and yet he argues against this. There are several posts now that Coldjoint is arguing that Muslims should be violent. For him to make this argrument, basically trying to convince peaceful people to be terrorists is odd.

Here is the real question for this thread....

What should the impact of Coldjoint's hatred and fear have on American families who are Muslims and don't share Coldjoints idea that people should be terrorists?

This is bigotry because it singles people out for hatred and fear based only on their ethnic group.

@maxdancona,
I'm glad that your friend isn't a mass murderer.

But why should "the fact that your friend is not a mass murderer" prevent people from condemning people who are mass murderers?

I have not seen Coldjoint condemn anyone other than the ones who are actual murderers.

Why isn't Coldjoint willing to condemn the murders being committed by White Supremacists?

He pasted an explanation about why terrorism committed by White non-muslims doesn't count.... but it doesn't make any sense to me.

I accept your point that not all White people are murderers.

My guess would be that it is because he sees it as nothing more than an attempt to derail the point that he is trying to make.

@oralloy,
. . . which is exactly what maxdancona is trying to do. That's always been his motivation. He's easily one of the least friendly of the members. He doesn't want a dialogue. He doesn't respect anyone who dares to disagree with him. He wants to silence those he deems are not politically correct. I suspect he's a bully in real life who feels compelled to boost his ego by tearing others down, which he has done repeatedly in this website.

What he and other so-called "progressives" don't seem to realize is that more and more people are getting sick and tired of their intolerance, hypocrisy, and bigotry. I'm convinced there is a price that the so-called "progressives" will pay in 2020; namely, the reelection of Trump accompanied by a massive resurgence of the political right that will last for a very long time. I'm actually not a Republican, and I'm not a big Trump fan. I'll either vote for Trump or refuse to vote, but that's beside the point. I'm sure when Trump is re-elected next year that m*********, the great hero of A2K, will cry in his beer. Perhaps he will join other liberals and scream helplessly at the sky as some Hillary voters did the first time. I'm sure there will be many hilarious You Tube videos of these dignified political expressions. When this happens and I think of m********* wallowing in abject misery, I'll laugh and laugh and laugh. Smile

@wmwcjr,
Actually we're just two years into a 20+ year period of Republican control over the White House.

I find Max to be friendly and have had lots of friendly exchanges with him over the years. I don't want to start trouble by naming names, but I can think of some much more unfriendly people here. If I recall, some of those more-unfriendly people have targeted you in the past too.

I think Max means well and is merely trying to protect innocent Muslims from being lumped in with the Muslims who harm people.

He's doing it wrong though. Silencing criticism of terrorists is not the way to go about protecting innocent Muslims.

The problem within Islam should be discussed and confronted openly. Pointing out that there are lots of good Muslims (who are actually our allies against the terrorists) can be done without silencing discussion of the terrorists.

@maxdancona,
How dense are you? What religion do white supremacists follow that says they should kill. And no, it is not Christianity, don't even try to say that. Any killing done by Christians is not sanctioned in Christian doctrine. Got that?

Islam, not Muslims, you keep using the word Muslim when I am clearly talking about Islam, not Muslims. I never said they were all terrorists. When you accuse me of that you are flat out lying. I have said the religious texts of Islam inspire jihad and are meant to. Jihad takes many forms terror and violence are two of them. Those are stone cold facts.

This is being taught to children. If anyone here is a bigot it is you. Constantly attacking a race and the white is the only connection.

You have made a fool of yourself if you wish to continue I, apparently, cannot stop you.

What do you think is taught in that mosque?
Quote:
The U.S. sought to strip Kariye of his U.S. citizenship because he “provided false information and both willfully misrepresented and concealed material facts’’ when applying for naturalization to the United States.

During the process, the FBI informed U.S. Justice Department attorneys that Kariye had coordinated with Osama bin Laden and other known terrorist leaders and was associated with terrorist organizations including Makhtab Al-Khidamat, or MAK, a designated terrorist organization and pre-cursor to al-Qaida.

“The parties agreed denaturalization was appropriate, following which Kariye agreed to depart the United States,” said Kevin Sonoff, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Kariye ultimately was able to fly to Hargeisa, Somaliland. He arrived last Friday.

When Kariye had first sought citizenship, he had lied on his application to federal immigration officials about not being arrested in the past, failing to acknowledge a 1993 arrest in Pakistan, according to court documents.

Under the settlement, Kariye is forever prevented from claiming any rights or benefits under any document that shows he had obtained U.S. citizenship on Aug. 14, 1998.

Texas: Muslim Found Guilty of Conspiring to Support ISIS*

Again, Islam says jihad is the greatest of deeds. In fact Muhammad said that himself. Remember, Muhammad is the perfect man in Islam. The one to emulate. What could make this man do this without being inspired Islam?

If the religion produces results like this why do civilized people tolerate and defend it? Anyone like to answer?

My goal on this thread is to defend American families.

Think about the impact of Coldjoint's rhetoric on American families. He doesn't actually say what should be done with these families (although he admits that the "majority" of them are peaceful). But he wants you to hate and fear them.

Again... how should we consider families who work hard, raise their families? Many Muslims even serve their country valiantly in the military and some have given their lives. The impact of ColdJoint's hateful speech is that these families are treated with suspicion. Children face insults in school. People have trouble getting jobs. Worship services are infiltrated.

And consider how harmful Coldjoint's argument is; that Muslims should be terrorists. It is a ridiculous argument to tell Americans who serve, and work and raise families that they really should be terrorists. Coldjoint is advocating for violence... he is almost cheering it.

If you don't believe this is bigotry. Consider this. Take any one of Coldjoint's posts and change the word "Muslim" with the word "Jew" or "Jewish". If you posted this about Jews, or Japanese people or any other ethnic group, it would likely be censored from this site.

But, it isn't that far fetched... the things that Coldjoint is saying about Muslims was said about the Jews by bigots in the not that distant past. (including the false claim the Jewish scriptures advocate violence against non-Jews).

One more time . I talk about Islam not individual Muslims. You keep saying Muslim, not me.

You have clearly lost this argument. The bigotry you insist I have does not exist. Relating facts about what Islam says is not bigoted, it is simply the truth.

Again your whining about bigotry has no place here and either do you.

Here is a little more of what Islam says.
Quote:
Quran Verses:

2:191-194 Religion is for Allah..."
2:216-218 "Fighting is Ordained for You Though You Dislike It..."
2:244 "Fight in the Way of Allah..."
3:28, 5:51 "Take Not the Jews and Christians as Friends..."
3:56 "Disbelievers Will Be Punished in This World..."
3:151 "We Shall Cast Terror into the Hearts of Those Who Disbelieve..."
4:74 "Sell the Life of This World for the Hereafter..."
4:89 "If They Turn Away, Seize Them and Kill Them..."
4:95 "Not Equal are the Believers Who Sit at Home and Those Who Fight for Allah..."
4:104 "And Do Not Be Weak in Pursuit of the Enemy..."
5:33 "Those Who Do Mischief in the Land Shall be Killed or Crucified..."
8:12 "I will Cast Terror into the Hearts of Those who Disbelieve... Strike off Their Heads..."
8:39 "Fight Them Until There is No More Fitna and Religion Be Only for Allah..."
8:59-60 "Make Ready Against [the Disbelievers] All Steeds of War..."
9:5 "Slay the Idolaters Wherever You Find Them..."
9:29 "Fight Those Who Believe Not in Allah..."
9:30 "They Say 'Son of God', May Allah Destroy Them..."
9:38-42 "If You March Not Forth, He Will Punish You With a Painful Torment..."
9:73 (9:88, 9:11) "Strive Hard Against the Unbelievers and Hypocrites and Be Unyielding..."
9:123 "Fight Those of the Unbelievers Who are Near to You..."
18:65-81 "They Proceeded, Till They Met a Boy, Whom He Killed..."
47:4 "When You Meet Those Who Disbelieve, Smite Them at Their Necks..."
47:35 "Be Not Faint-Hearted, Crying for Peace When You Should Be Uppermost..."
61:4 "Surely Allah Loves Those Who Fight in His Way..."
61:9 "He Sent Muhammad to Make Islam Superior over All Other Religion..."
66:9 "Strive Hard Against the Disbelievers and Be Severe Against Them..."

Anyone see any "bigotry" in those words? I do, I also see hate.

@coldjoint,
Recently neo-nazis with tiki torches marched down the street chanting "Jews will not replace us". Would Coldjoint consider this to be bigotry? After all, they weren't talking about individual Jews.

The real issue is the impact that this bigotry against Muslims and Jews has on American families. I don't think Coldjoints weird rationalization helps them deal with the hatred and fear being stirred up against them.

@maxdancona,
You're a bigot yourself. You hate Christians and accuse them of antisemitism, yet you make no mention at all of the antisemitism of Muslims. Indeed, you seem to have a preferential attitude toward them. So much for equality. Never mind that evangelicals have been among the biggest supporters of Israel. So much for your outrageously false claim that Christians teach that Jews are animals. By the way, politically there's less support for Israel on the left than there is on the right.

I have no problem with Muslim immigrants who have assimilated and contribute to the well-being of this country. They should be appreciated by all other Americans. On that issue I agree with you.

What I have a problem with is Muslim immigrants who seek to Islamicize the Western countries that have so graciously allowed them to become citizens. I'm amazed by liberals who defend Islam despite its undeniably horrendous human rights record. Like the rest of us, Muslims in this country enjoy freedom of religion; but that does not give them the right to try to remake our own culture by bullying other Americans to their will instead of minding their own business.

You say that Islam should never be criticized, but you criticize Christianity all the time. Don't you think you're being inconsistent, if not hypocritical?

The real issue

You have no idea what is real. You seem to live in your own world. Your constant demeaning of the truth by associating it with bigotry that you seem to live for.

The truth about what this religion says and teaches are facts. I have posted numerous examples. You keep whining but no one I have seen on this thread is listening. Hang it up reality awaits. One day you might even get a clue. No one is holding their breath, because you seem to be consumed with self righteousness and an oversized ego.

The Real Face of the Muslim American Society
Disturbing radical ties never fail to surface.

Another peak at reality and how it is distorted by Islamic deceptions.
Quote:
Fortunately for Suleiman, “serious” Islamist scholars like Ragheb Elsergany still slip through the cracks every now and again. Unapologetically anti-Semitic and militantly pro-jihad, Elsergany has twice prompted MAS-ICNA convention organizers to apologize for his extremist speeches and pledge to ban him from future conferences. And yet, at its April conference, MAS-Milwaukee ignored this moratorium and invited Elsergany to its stage.

Speaking at a 2009 MAS conference, Elsergany glorified jihad and beseeched the audience to earn Allah’s favor by “supporting the fighters, and the mujahideen [Islamic warriors] and the besieged, and those in need there in Palestine.” He solicited donations and shamed his listeners for abandoning the Palestinians. “They are the ones who face the Zionists with their chests, their nerves, their lives, their children, their holy places and their sacred places,” Elsergany said.

@wmwcjr,
Quite the contrary Christianity, Islam and Judaism are equal in the sense that they are all faiths that millions of people find valuable to live meaningful, peaceful and generous lives. You can slander any of these religions by cherry picking Bible passages or Quran passages that seem to glorify violence. These books were written during the bronze age. A Christian, Muslim or Jew can choose to focus on the violent parts of their scriptures... but most Christians Muslims and Jews choose to receive a positive message from their scriptures of compassion.

Of course you can find radical Christians, Muslims or Jews that use religion to foster hate and fear. This is unfortunate, but it seems to be a part of human nature. It is wrong for Coldjoint to insist that this is a core of religion.

The bigotry is that Coldjoint paints on religion as good and the other religion as bad. It is the inequality that makes it bigotry, where Muslims calling for peace and compassion are evil schemers, and Christians who kill for a twisted version of religion don't matter.

Christians, Muslims and Jews are all human beings and they are all equal. Bigotry divides Americans and refuses to accept people based on ethnicity or religion.

It is true that there are some problems with Christianity. Now and then a deranged nutcase murders an abortion doctor. And the whole slaughter in Northern Ireland was just terrible on both sides.

But by and large there are not a large number of Christians who go around killing people.

There are a LOT of Muslims who do go around killing people. A small number of them are extreme and commit acts like 9/11. Many more try to murder anyone who they believe has disrespected Islam. And a lot of them merely murder their daughters if they go on a date.

It is quite true that there are many peaceful and good Muslims who do not do any of this. But it is wrong to deny that there is a huge problem specifically within Islam (and no other religion) that desperately needs to be fixed.
