This morning as i was eating my bowl of frosted flakes i noticed the diverse ammounts of cereal boxes i had and how each one had a cartoon character.

What i thought to myself was which character of all the cereal box characters there are (Tony the Tiger, Lepricon Lucky charms, Count chocula, tucan sam, trix rabbit, the robber and his dog from cookie crisp, sugar bear from post golden crisp, Fred and Barney Rubble-Fruity pebbles, the rice krispee triplets Snap, Crackle and Pop, the frog from Smacks, Cap'n'Crunch, Honey bee from cheerios etc) would win in a fight and why?

Tell me what you think and make sure you have plausible reasoning i had an idea of who i thought would win i wanna see if its the same as everyone else

P.S. Did Kix have a cartoon character i couldn't think of one.

Well I don't see how the Lepricon could lose with all those Lucky Charms.

Yeah but that Leprichon and the Trix rabbit can't even outrun a bunch of little kids.

Sugar bear is way too laid back. Ditto for Diggum the frog; he even calls his cereal "smack" so I'm betting he's a druggy.

Fred, Barney and the Cap'n are all too stocky and short to win.

Snap, Crackle and Pop? No way. But there is saftey in numbers.

The robber and his dog? Huh? They're off my radar.

Toucan Sam, Honey Bee, and Tony are all good bets but I wonder if anyone of them could beat that hopped up on chocolate and sugar, Sonny, cocoo for cocoa puffs bird?

I'm thinking the ultimate smackdown would be between Count Chocula and the Sonny.

But I think the Quaker Oats guy could probably kick all their asses.

But he's a Quaker so he's a pacifist so I'm putting my money on Sonny.

oooo I forgot about Count Chocula.

Those darn vampires are hard to get rid of.

I think Leprichan and the Count would blow through all the competition, then face each other in the championship Grudge Match.

Does the Leprichan have any crosses or stuff like that in his box of charms? Cause if he does, the Count is history...sorry.

And I think Lucky Charms tastes a lot better than Count Chocula, so maybe thats the tie breaker. Charms has more variety in the taste than just straight chocolate, and who wants to eat a bowl of chocolate, sugar and milk early in the morning?

The Leprichan is my champ.

Can anyone think of a cereal hero who can beat him? Must be plausible reason. Sorry, just cause kids can catch him, doesn't matter: he has the Charms, Dog!

hmmm....

Doesn't Mario and Pokemon' all those darn Japanese Anime Heros and the Transformers and all that have their own cereals now too?

Some of them might be tough.

Perhaps we'd have to do the Championship decade by decade. You know, Lucky Charms might win the 70s (he's old), Chocula wins the 80s, ....and today?

Probably some Japanese freaky thing with game would come in and smoke everyone.

Lucky the Leprachan only uses his "powers" to run away from kids!

When dealing with a berzerk lunatic like Sonny all the marshmallow charms in the world won't help.

I like the idea of decade death-match of mascots but that requires research so despite the fact we could add the Quisp alien (a real contender) and King Vitaman to the line up I think I'll opt for some more sugar.

Okay, thats a good point.

What is it with he and the Trix Rabbit too. They spend their whole life just trying to keep cereal away from kids?

What a miserable shallow existence.

Hey one of those must be a copy of the other. Both of them are characters who like to keep cereal away from kids. Are there any other cereal mascots who spend most their energy on just keeping the darn cereal away from kids?

Oh yeah.

Moms.

Okay, nobody hires us as mascots (even though we could really use the money) we spend an insane amount of time trying to keep kids away from fluffy, crunchy sugar bombs while convincing them that silly rabbits are the work of George Bush and his ilk.

Despite all of our "they're always after me lucky bananas" our kids still scream for artifical sorta-fruity flavored circles of sugar and preservatives.

We can only pray they don't grow up to vote Republican.

Just try bringing health food section Peanut Butter Bumpers home to realize what it feels like to be hated.

Oh yeah.

Forgot about that one. She could probably kick all of the mascot's rears.

Except for some of those cuties that appear on Wheaties, that might be her weakness...

I feel safe in speaking for moms everywhere when I say that those animated twerps kick my ass one way or another every single time I step foot into the grocery.

My plea of "if you want to buy chemicals let's check the Dow-Jones" are ignored over the temptation of dehydrated green clover marshmallows.

Luckily, none of the mascots I know of have access to the PIN number of my debit card.

But sorry gus, no damn sugar coated Eminem wanna be frog that wears his hat backwards is gonna beat Sonny. He's cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs and he ain't pretending.

dang, he looks hopped up higher than a kite on sugar too!

have to respect that.

Isn't he the dude that calls his cereal "smack"?

Dang pusher/pimp Frog!

By gad, they're not even trying to hide it anymore. Notice they don't even call it Sugar Smacks anymore.

Its just "Smacks"

Dang, getting the kids ready for the street early, huh?
