Five minutes later, I saw a classy lady come behind the column, looking at me and saying : You have an air.. and I replied : of Francis?
I recognized Clary. As old friends we weren't yet, we kissed in the cheeks.

Here's how I reconstruct that photo. Francis had been hiding behind the beam. As Clary walked by, he reached out and tried to snatch her purse. Clary responded with a swift kick to the groin and several lightning-quick punches to the hapless lad's face. Francis lies on the ground, bleeding like a stuck pig, and Clary looks on with bemusement.
At least that's how I see it.
