If a large and rough area to keep mowed, likely the gas-powered mowers will work best for you.

You want a 'self propelled' lawnmower. (no cord)

The more powerful the 4 stroke engine, the better, and try to get one with as wide a cut circle as possible, with 'mulching blades'.

Mulching blades mean you dont have to mess around emptying the grass catcher - EVER.

Key start is a nice luxury if your willing to pay for it.
