Huh? I would have believed the Catholic Church has far more of an emphasis on redemption and forgiveness than, for instance, a number of rigid protestant sects, including those charmers which believe in pre-destination!!!
The Reformers believe in the Birth type of pre-destination, otherwise most Protestants believe that God knows when you decide to be his follower.
