Link to Hooters Air
Hooter's Air is taking to the skies. A no-frills shuttle airline with one route, between Atlanta, and Myrtle Becah S.C. began service this week. Hooter's, known more for its scantily clad women than its food, is attempting to break into the airline industry.
What do you think about this?
Do you think that it is appropriate for an airline to dress their flight attendants in outfits that seems like 2003's answer to the Playboy Bunny Outfit?
Do you think that Hooter's will make in in an industry that has had a lot of failures in the no-frills market?
I think it's a shot in the dark that will be a novelty for a while. After the novelty wears off it will IMO fall from the sky.
They'll be alright unless they give the pilots rear-view mirrors.
Its a novelty that will end quickly.
LarryBS- I agree. One of the things that I read is that the equipment that they are using is not of the latest vintage. Also, a lot of women are not too pleased with the whole concept, and would probably choose another airline. Hey, I wish them well, but I am doubtful of the outcome of this venture!
I would suppose this means we have differing opinions on the meaning of "no frills."
