Add existing Timeline item to Friends’ Newsfeeds

A friend tagged me in a post and I allowed it under Timeline Review. But none of my Friends had it cone up in their Newsfeeds. I discovered that my setting was by mistake on ‘Only Me’ for posts in which I am tagged. I have changed that to ‘Friends’ but it’s still not showing up in their Timelines. Why did the post not push out to Newsfeeds? Is there a way to get it to do so after the fact?
