If GIGLI weighed 56k, and CARUSO weighed 84k, and BJORLING weighed 107k, then logically how much does PAVAROTTI weigh

I don't know the answer to your question, but where did you get the weights that you cite? 123# seems rather light for Gigli, and 235# seems a bit heavy for Bjorling, at least as I recall them.

Don't worry Flyboy we won't tell anyone you were seen in the Leaper colony, or riddles as it is sometime called.

Although it would have been nice to know their heights and eye color.

However, with the body some 95% water and the pull of the moon at high tide he must weigh 142k.

Also, a big howdy to Material girl, it's good to see a shapely ankle around here. Laughing

I read that some time ago he had lost 30 lbs. from his 330lb frame, which would make him about 300 pounds, or 136.08 kilograms.

Hell Phoenix, we are only 5.02k apart. If he was weighed before lunch, you may have got it. Laughing

What a shame we see you down here so seldom.

Don, you Brits make I laugh. If you post the question, don't you have to give the answer? Shocked

Oh well, you did help us when those dammed Yankees came a calling. So, the least I can do is point you in the right direction.

>>> A=1 etc. total - weight = n-12>>> next =n+12>>>>next n-20>>>Pav=n+20.

This is a good riddle, I am sure someone will come up with a clear answer. (Even a better one) If not, and you do not understand the above, I will return within 24 hours. Laughing

Letter_total - Weight

56-44=12
84-77=7
107-87=20
142-122=20 (142 is Try's guess)

I don't see the pattern.

That, dear sir is because you made: 84-77=7 Shocked

Whereas, I with the scientific insight of a dork counted 96. Embarrassed

Making a nice pattern of: -12 +12 - 20 + 20.

However, your timely intervention has retrieved the situation, and I return to my medication. Drunk

MG "Ive forgotton what this thread is about"... "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" -Rhett Butler (Gone with The Wind).

Mark, ""logic would dictate" "I'm sorry, but that struck me as funny."

I am pleased you saw the delicious irony in that statement, especially as I was trying out voice activated software. Laughing
