Nebraska recently (this ain't an Onion joke) changed it's state motto to:
Nebraska: Honestly, it's not for everyone which replaced the older model of "Nebraska Nice."


Let's rewrite the mottos for other states as well.
I'll start!
New York's state motto presently is Excelsior. Should be "Stan Lee owes us $billions in royalties!"

We don't have county mottos, but for those entering Hampshire there's this.

Actual state motto: Agriculture and Commerce (seriously, that's really their motto)
Honest state motto: We can't spell it either.
