Ikea dishwasher

We’ve recently had an ikea metod kitchen with voxtorp doors fitted by our builders.

Initially, they fitted the dishwasher with an approximately 8cm gap between the top and the underside of the worktop. This seemed odd to us so we asked them to raise the d/w to a “normal” height. The gap is now 3 or 4cm but we can’t now open the door fully as the front panels butt against the body of the dishwasher.

Understand that this has been a problem with non Ikea dishwashers and a sliding door is available (sort of) but surely this shouldn’t be an issue with Ikea own brand units?
