Little round green mold spores on door to basement inside and out

I found little round green mold spores on my exterior wood door which was recently installed. It is bare wood and not finished with any paint nor stain. There is no other mold anywhere else. The rest of the new exposed 2x4 framing and masonry walls, exposed floor beams, and floor have no spores. Why did it just form on the door?
