It sounds as if ros has no idea how to answer RL's question and contents himself, as usual, with just slagging it off. It also sounds as if ros thinks science can't answer it either.
And when one considers the relative nobility of the competing hypotheses it is easy to see why 85% of Americans accept the noblest in the absence of any definitive answer to the question. The other 15% probably have some subjective reason for choosing the baser one.
