Unique? I'm going with Nepalese for having the stinkiest dish I've ever tried/had go past the table. Even the waiters thought it was awful - said it was traditional and that their grandparents liked it.
How can 2 things, let alone 10 things, all be “most unique”?

Indonesia is number one for their widespread use of soy tempeh. Tempeh can be made from many other beans, and it's extremely nutritious and cheap, and anybody can make it. You don't need big business or food factories. In Indonesia it's a cottage industry. It's obvious to me that tempeh is the answer to the world's future protein needs.
