Could such a place exist? If nobody has heard, from what I've gathered is this:

It was an ancient land, some believe the same time as atlantis...Atlantis was a paradise of a place, full of the Scientists, and Mathmatical geniuses of earth, and that Lemuria was a place for the artistic , and philosophical ones... Here is a page on it...

Is such a place possible? If so, why hasn't any evidence been found? And have we lived there before?

I've heard of lemuria. Cannot say where, but the name is familiar.

Anyway, I think it highly unlikely that our civilization is the first on to ever exist. History tells us of the first civilizations forming by the rivers eufrat and tigris approximately 6000 years ago (I think). The egyptians were considered to be the among the first to abandon the tribal structure for a new hierarchy. But considering the age of the earth, and for how long humans have walked it, I have a hard time believing that there were no advanced civilizations prior to this.

I don't know wether or not atlantis and lemuria existed, but I am almost certain that some advanced civilizations have existed a long time ago. I even suspect that they were more sophisticated than we are today.

No. Modern lemurs have evolved from the ones that outlived lemuria. The decendants of a people thriving in decadence and cultural abundance, who after losing their culture developed fur and crept back into the trees. They had pretty much decided that the whole civilization business was just too much effort for what came out of it. Smile

Of course there were advanced civilizations prior to this.
I saw one in tv, I don't know the name, that had a king named Conan - he looked like Mr. Schwarzenegger!
And there are Tarzan's adventures, I think it was in Lemuria (those fellows of Lemuria were the bad guys).
And there were the Nibelungen, that lived in Nibelheim, and their king was Alberich. They were also the bad guys.

Who needs more proofs?

Sorry for the duplication, my friends. I know my reply was of the greatest scientific importance, but there are limits!

Conan... Arnold is not worthy to play Conan. No mere man is...

But otherwise, you are entirely right. Smile
