you have never read the bible.You believe in rational objectivity--something beyound logic is unreal or either magic. That world is very limited--because its an easy thing to do. I simply go on my knees and ask jesus for answers. and the very easily he begins to speak to me, the wrong answers are the ones i made up myself simply because some thought i spent my peaceful night checking their old post. I dont even get paid, why would i do that?..you are a wise man. And you have the ability to think than conclude. Just like [seneca?] on A2k you are no extremely philosophical. And you live by moral codes---future:chances are you would do greater than this cheap prediction if you became a christian. You are a very humble man--dont think christianity is about sin confession and guilt. As popes and some pastors have made thousans to believe. ...By the way, your house has a nice couch.

Oh this is amusing.

I've read the bible. I'm female. The couch in my house is ancient and it sucks. I am "no extremely philosophical"? WTF does that mean? Oh and BTW, my BA is in philosophy - believe it or not, there are philosophers who aren't Jesus. Lots and lots of them.

And I will never become a Christian. There is a 0% chance. Don't take that as a challenge. The percentage is zero. It will never, ever change.

But aside from that, your prediction was perfect!!!

@Aurora Maybe,
cats and dogs running about your redbrick neighbourhood, you are the child of a giant father and a petite mother.
You certainly believe in being independent. You are rude and beautiful.You dont cry in front of people. You would be pretty good at kick boxing if you tried. You are tall.
If this is you...You are unmarried you would have a happy married life. You would be a mother of two beutiful girls and then you would gain more weight.
If this not you, you have the face fit for a celibrety. you talk rapidly for sure.

@oralloy,
you need to work on consistency. I cannot abide a bunch of loser predictions. Now, how bout combinations and trifectas in horse races?

@farmerman,
If you think you can do better, feel free to post your own predictions before the 2022 Olympics.

I know nothing of horse racing, so would not be able to make decent predictions there.

PS, I guess my sense of humor can be taken as a little abrasive sometimes. It was just my way of marveling at your actual predictions in ice skating . Dont take offense, sorry.

@farmerman,
Oh. Sorry for being snippy.

BTW, I'll be offline for a few days. The power supply on my computer died. I'm just borrowing a computer to order a new power supply.

I watch a lot of figure skating. My grandma likes figure skating, and she would miss most of the events if I didn't record them and play them for her. Plus it gives us an activity in common to spend together.

If I didn't record and watch it with my grandma, I'd probably only pay attention to figure skating during the Olympics. But as it stands I tend to see every competition that is significant enough to appear on a cable channel, so I get pretty familiar with all of the skaters and how good they are.

I think I've been lucky in some of my guesses too. Some of them were safe guesses. Ice Dance in particular is easy to predict because there aren't any risky jumps. It is simply a question of the more skilled skaters doing harder routines. And in ladies singles the Russian women this year were definitely going to get gold and silver. They were lightyears ahead of everyone else. But with some of the other guesses, while they were certainly plausible, I was surprised that I did as well as I did.

I'm just borrowing a computer again to make a few quick posts.

My new power supply arrived the next day despite my picking slow/free shipping. But after I put it in the computer, I decided that as long as the computer was opened up on a workbench, I should also de-lid my CPU.

It took a week for the de-lidding equipment to arrive. And since then other things have been keeping me busy and I haven't had time to get back to working on the computer.

I'll be getting around to it one of these days though.
