The young Jeffrey Dahlmer waited patiently, his finger poised over the activation button -- the button that would release the hidden guillotine. The smell of fresh cheese hung in the air and the aerosol can of Attract-A-Mouse still had moisture pellets on its nozzle. And then....the mouse appeared! The mouse's head protruded from the printer in a tentative fashion and his nose wrinkled as he tried to discern the source of the cheese smell. Dahlmer hit the button, and the mouse's severed head dropped on to the keyboard, bounced twice, and then rolled off the edge of the desk. Dahlmer's hand shot out and retrieved the mouse head in mid-air. He examined it with a certain amount of bemused indifference, then placed it in a jar at his feet.
Resetting the guillotine, and shooting a fresh blast of Attract-a-Mouse into the air, Jeffrey sat back. And waited.
