What a coincidence! For the first time today, I noticed that a buddy at work has a calendar with mensa questions on it. This was the question for today.

Each word has a smaller word in it that when read backwards forms another word (e.g. bat, tab).

Rut would work since tur is listed at m-w.com, although it could be a name.

ned/den would work if names are accepted.

I don't remember what the calendar had for that one.
