How are you all?
I am trying to help my friend to solve this chip puzzle but I can't see which color Deirdre, Joseph, and Ronald get.
here is the puzzle question.
"I have five poker chips in my pocket?-three black and two white. I propose to blindfold each of you and then give you each a chip. One by one, I will remove your blindfolds. You will be permitted to see the chip in your colleagues' hands; however, you must keep your own chip concealed in your closed palm. If any one of you can tell me the color of your own chip, then I will give you $1 million, more than enough to ensure the financial future of your business. Each of you has the option of guessing or not guessing. However, if any one of you guesses wrong, you must give me your company, free and clear: Is it a deal?" said President of the casino. So, what color did these three individual get?
I will very appreciate for your time to look at this puzzle.
If one of them sees two whites, that one has black.
If one of them sees a white and a black, but the one with black guesses, they have a white themselves.
If any see a white and a black, but the others are not guessing, they have a black
if any see two black, and the others are not guessing, they have a black.
