Do you know the difference between video conferencing and webcam meeting or do they have the same meaning?
Thanks.
Web cammingis generally only done between 2 people, each viewing each other, or by multiple people watching a single person.
Web conferencing software often allows everyone to view each other (if they have web cam), often in a virtual meeting room. Web conferencing software offers far more capabilities than just web camming, voice chat, shared whiteboards and in some cases the ability to present slideshows.
In short web camming is mearly viewing a web camera, whereas conferencing encompases many other technologies all within the one software application.
