forgot password, can't get reset password link from facebook

I forgot my password, and can't open facebook. I tried resetting it, but it won't allow me. I got this:

https://web.facebook.com/recover/extended/ineligible

"If you no longer have access to your email, you can try to log in again. After you've logged in, you can change the email on your account."

Enter your email in forgot password option. Then you will receive an email from FB authority and they will mention the reset password link there itself. Try this out!
