@glitterbag,
I just did an experiment with Cheerios. Get them wet and they soften and swell up. Let them dry completely and they become very hard and much smaller than originally.

Thinking of the future, I decided not to repeat the experiment.

I'm thinking about the big mac I had for my birthday lunch. I was still full nearly 12 hours later.

@ehBeth,
Oh, yeah. Have a big mac for breakfast and you can make it through the rest of the day on the bloat.

@roger,
Trying to remember when I last had one. A decade maybe? I usually get a kiddie burger if I am at McD's.

Shoulda gone with a breakfast meal. I think it's great that the all-day breakfasts are available at all of them now. Gimme sausage patties and hot mustard. ALL the hot mustard.

@roger,
Mr. G'bag had to have 4 stints back in 1998, I revamped my meal preparation but just when I managed to fry chicken close to his Aunt Olivia's chicken. So we eschewed all fast food, even pizza and I haven't had anything from McDonald's since then. While I was bragging to a neighbor how meticulous we've been avoiding fast food, Mr. G'bag said.....well maybe you haven't had anything from McDonald's, but I have.

I let out a gasp................................and since then I don't remember anything.

@tommagic,
Unfortunately women usually think of the future in terms of planning for something to possibly go bad. That risk aversion is holding women back.

It's a trait that would benefit society as a whole -- cautiousness and risk aversion.

The main drawbacks are from the perspective of the risk averse person herself. The mob responds well to confidence. They punish the woman who is conscious of the flaws in her ideas.

@StiofanM,
That's why businesses started by women tend to survive at a higher rate than businesses started by men. An amazingly consistent statistic. Learned it in business courses 30 years ago, a business development program 15 - 20 years ago, and in a more recent business development course.
