JL and fredjones: I was struck by that same point while watching the VP debates in late October; Cheney would say one thing and Edwards would say another. I lean towards disbelieving Cheney, but you never really know. what was the most unsettling is the fact that I would never really know; all I could do was consult another avenue, and take them at their word(or not). Sometimes I wonder how much we're really lied to.
