[resolved]Unwanted email updates ? I cant turn them off?

I had those too -- might be a side effect of server maintenance. Go to the thread that's sending the updates, scrool to the bottom and click the link that says Turn off email updates.

I do that.
I have done that over, and over , and over again.. and I STILL get them.... grrr

Oh, ack, looks like you have to do it for every thread that you get updates for...

I think its just a glitch.

I went back and checked my profile page to make sure I had clicked "no" for email updates but I'm getting them today too.

every thread you post on, and everytime someone else posts again.

I just noticed that it seems to be the default setting for every thread. Just turned them off for this thread. Sounds like a job for Super Craven.

I just blocked the " updates@able2knowforum" email address from my mail box.
I have recieved 23 emails in less then half an hour!!!


I did the same thing boom. I thought maybe I had changed something in my profile, my profile still says " no" for email updates, yet everytime I post.. I get it.

The email notification bug has been fixed, it was a bug in the quick reply code.

The author of the code has been informed of the fix and the issue is resolved locally.

You can turn off email updates for all your threads with the following link, and future replies will use your profile setting for notifications.

Unsubscribing is fully functional now, so please unblock any email addresses on our domain as that can interfere with the updates of others and cause your account to be deactivated.
