On 25 February 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a recent US settler in Hebron, emptied two full magazines of a Galil assault rifle into a Palestinian congregation at the Abraham Mosque.

Almost instantly 48 Palestinians were killed.

Israeli soldiers then killed 6 more Palestinians as they tried to escape in terror.

More than 300 were wounded.

The quote below is taken from an Israeli website
: http://www.ahavat-israel.com/ahavat/humor/humor52.asp

Objectives of the website: Ahavat Torat Israel - Love for the Jewish Culture
- Become a Better Jew - Ignorance is Our Worst Enemy!

I was shocked and appalled, yet it should come as no surprise that this terrorist has a shrine dedicated to him in Israel.
With the glorification of terrorist by either side it is up to us in the West to intervene and put a stop to this madness.

Quote:
Rabin in Heaven
Rabin died and went to heaven. There he is greeted by the welcoming commitee, and is told that in heaven each person can choose what type of house he wants to leave in for eternity.
Rabin says that before choosing what type of house he would like for eternity, he would first like to have a look around heaven to see what type of houses people have.

He starts his tour, and suddenly he sees a huge building, Ma'arat Hamachpela. He knocks on the door and Baruch Goldstein (comment : the terrorist who massacred Palestinains in worship.) ZT"L HY"D opens the door.
Rabin asks him "Well, I see you live in a very nice house. About how long did it take you to build this house?"
Goldstein says: "It took only 2 weeks."
Rabin goes back to the person in charge, to tell him he has already decided what house he wants: "I want to live in the Knesset" Rabin says.
The person in charge tells him that will be OK, they will start building the Knesset for him immediately.
Rabin then asks how much time will the construction take.
And they tell him it will take about 3 years to build.
Rabin complains: "3 years!!! But you build Goldstein's house in only 2 weeks!!!"
So they tell him: "Yes that's right but, HE BROUGHT HIS OWN WORKERS!!!" (i.e the 48 Palestinian workers he killed in the mosque.)

Although it is clear the quote is in the format of a joke, it does raise the alarming question about why so many people in Israel regard Baruch as a hero, and the fact there is a shrine built and dedicated to him in Israel bears testimony to this fact. Is this a case of peoples true feelings coming out in the form of jest?
Should we continue to remain silent?
