Here's a picture from when I was just a wee little one. Wasn't I cute?
Kicky, who were you waving to with your right foot?
Panz, LOVE the Mad Chef one!
And nimh, you're one of those people who looks so cool you couldn't look nerdy if you tried. Sorta like James Dean, who was so un-cool he was cool, or was it the other way around?
Oh, and cars! Wish I had a video of Mr. Kitten on our first date, folding his 6'5" self into a Fiero. I hated that car! Always breaking down, like it was a hobby or something.
Learned to drive in a Fiat Sport Spider, convertible 5-speed. Now THERE was a nice car. Wooden steering wheel even, and it handled like a dream. Wrecked it one day driving mom to work, when a Rabbi ran a stop sign & appeared Directly in front of us, I don't think I even had time to brake. Bone-dented both my knees, and they haven't been right since.
Second favorite car was a pal's Alfa Romeo in college... we used to drive it all over the twisty roads north of Tampa, just fer fun.
More pictures!
Had to post a wedding photo so you all know I don't always look like a nerd (just usually).... I'm in complete shock & dismay here, since I was asked to hold a LIT candle and use it to light, with Mr. Kitten, an unlit candle. I thought my chances of succeeding at this without igniting my veil or perhaps the entire building were exceedingly slim, but I actually did it, and held onto my flowers the whole time! I was 35 (first marriage).... eight years ago.
Wow! You look like you stepped out of an ad in a bride's magazine.
Great pictures, everyone.
Husker is exactly how I imagined him... after seeing his youth pictures.
Panzade, cool as always.
Nimh seems sooooo peaceful and nerdy
BorisKitten, quite impressive. Gotta agree with George's opinion... right from a bridal magazine.
And Kicky... is that a recent pic?

pretty pretty prtty - what can I can
That truly is one gorgeous bride. Stunning picture BorisKitten.
I also llike panzade's picture and that yellow car (whatever
it is) looks in great shape.
Aw, thanks for all the compliments. Actually I really needed compliments today, feeling really rather crabby & down, so I think that's why I posted the picture. Thank you for stroking my tiny sense of vanity! I always knew I was smart, and never knew what I looked like (and still don't) at all. So I have to depend on other's opinions!
As for "The Bridal Magazine," that's rather funny, since I've never in my life bought a bridal mag! I bought the dress at a thrift store for $50. I hand-sewed beads all over the bodice, and made my veil and headband, my earrings, bracelet, etc. I wore actual slippers with the dress! After all, how many places does a bride walk?
I even refused the professional manicure/pedicure/make-up application offered by my mother before the wedding. At 35, I was pretty sure I would only be married once, and I wanted it all done My Way. So I did everything myself, including walking down the aisle... ALONE.
But thanks, everyone. Kitten feels better now.
Well, you looked like a million bucks kitten, and very, very
beautiful.
I found another picture of my little soccer queen
....and my infamous hang over picture
Aw, Little Soccer Queen looks like such a charming kid. What an adorable expression!
And love the hangover pix! I was thinking I should post, along with that good picture of me, a really bad picture of me. I don't think I'm that brave, at least not right now.... my ego seems to be screaming for Fluffing this week.
<--- My new look. Hot, ain't I?
Lookin' a little pale today.
You feeling OK?
Feeling fine, except someone called me an eraserhead.
Hey Zane - you are an eraserhead!
