I was so delighted to see everyone! I got Really Brave (for me), and took this picture this very morning.....I thought of posting my wedding picture, where of course I look Much Better, but that's 8 years old. No cheating!

Yay borriskitty! You look great! And it looks so warm down there in FL. Sigh.

75 degrees right now....seems this is the time of year when all the Northerners Just Can't Stand Another Minute of cold. And who can blame them?

It's WAY HOT here in summer, I mean cut the humdity with a knife, all leather turns to mold, even the plants can't stand it. I used to live in Hollywood, FL (midway between Miami & Ft. Lauderdale), and it's even hotter there. Blick!

Trick is, you have to live a bit inland, otherwise it's hot all day AND all night. Sarasota was like an oven (but damp) even at night in summer. Here, we're only 25 miles from the coast it's significantly cooler at night.

Mustache....teehee! Gets thicker every year. In another 10 years I'll be shaving daily.

Me great-granny had a mustache AND a big honkin' hawk-nose; part of the Syrian mystique.

I'll be Really Lucky if the chick-mustache ever becomes a Fashion Statement, but I'm not counting on it...but you know, we all see our flaws as Way Bigger than our beauties, eh?

You know, I can't lift an eyebrow on purpose, either. It happens most when I'm annoyed, only sometimes when I'm happy.

But I think California isn't as hot as Florida. I've only been in CA in the winter, so I'm not sure, but CA is way more North than FL.

Err...unless you mean both coasts of FL, in which case YES, it is equally hot on both coasts.

i decided to double-up in honor of the 20th anniversary of the sequel '2010'...

I don't think the ageing process for men is all that fair. The hair falls off of your head, and grows out your ears and nose. Not to mention the poor fellas that end up with a rug on their back, and nothing on top. It isn't right.

I would sit down with God and have a serious chat with him about that.
