@ossobuco,
The next time, you probably could crop them with MS Paint or Gimp or some kind of basic photo program.
Still the white spaces gives the Polaroids a certain gallery feel. Some wonderful photos indeed!!
Be careful, I may post more. Not of La Jolla, a short but major time in my life, but later.
Remember if you will, that I earned 160 a month then, and when the roommate left because of asthma, I was left with the 95. dollar rent, not to mention my bill to beneficial finance ($13.) and the cost of nylons. That was when I was eating Morton's spaghetti, frozen, for 29 cents, and bought chicken necks. Hauled my laundry across town about seven blocks (christ, in la jolla) to a laundramat. Others at the clinic invited me to dinner, so I probably got some vitamins once every couple of weeks. It's possible I'd hate la jolla now, given various experiences, except that another friend got cred at the university, and another, in the eighties is la jolla close and I've visited, and now I know cjane. And now there is a smart guy in the psych department at UCD. Oh, and my cousins live close. So, I've grown up and don't hate the place.
@tsarstepan,
I'm working on mac. I did have the old canon scanner going on the old mac and could edit more than with this epson printer multi use cheapo thing. On the other hand, I haven't chased down questions about the limitations with Epson.
I'm lax on looking, this seems so retrograde to me. I will check out Gimp, etc.
It's probable mac has this worked out, and I don't know about it.
@ossobuco,
i love the color of Polaroid photos.
That beach picture is fantastic though way too small *ahem*
i love that bottom photo of you. It looks so.. young and girly. Soft yellow dress, blue and pink room.. It is almost like it was set up that way and not just a chance shot.
This is me, Victor Murphy!
@ossobuco,
degree of difficulty -- left hand,
AND the sun was in my eyes...
Great pictures everyone!
jespah, Region: have you been asked about the logo on your hats?
@Region Philbis,
Nice to see a new picture of you and your lovely wife, RP!
@Region Philbis,
What I like about you and Jes, is the love has always been there regardless.
@Letty,
Yes, they've gone through thick and thin - literally!
Sneak up on your children, with your camera in hand.....
OFTEN
its good parenting
@shewolfnm,
She's gonna get you for that someday.
@George,
I still get tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.
that JUST happened about 30 minutes ago.
Then she saw the photo, laughed herself and wanted to take more , so I did. But they dont have that magic moment in them like that one does. The 'private dancing' seen by mom..
@shewolfnm,
That picture is priceless!! You should put this one aside for later one when
the boyfriend visits the house....
