I loved this place! Good Harbor Beach between Gloucester and Rockport, MA. This island was a few hundred yards from the beach and accessible by a shallow sand dune.

It does look nice. Seems though that the water was rather cold, eh?

The water is always cold around here.

Same place, coming back. The waves were washing the island from both sides, meeting behind it...thus they created this long walkway all the way to the Island.

And Moses said: "Part ye, Reed Sea!" .... or something to that effect. And the people said :"Are we there yet? Hey, Moses, are we there yet? I'm thirsty, are we there yet?...."

She indeed has grown quite a bit, and she's so precious and cute. You probably
had to hose her down after that mud bath.

This reminds me of a story: back in Germany, one of our neighbors had gathered a bunch of kids around when it was time for a visit from St. Nick
and when he came into the house with his beautiful robe and authoritarian
voice, all kids got quiet and anxious in anticipation what St. Nick is going
to say or do, except the youngest one. He always screamed "It's grandpa,
it's grandpa"!!! He was too small to understand all the hoopla, but he did
remember grandpa's voice.

Yes, there is quite a similarity. However, this grampa has a special Santa voice that he has used for years. It is the eyes that have given it away in the past.

First day of school today. Annie is now a third grader. (She actually loves school --- the sun was in her eyes when the photo was taken.)

Oh, she has grown so much, wandel, and she's become such a cute young lady.
