Ha! I was in Washington in 2005, too! There was a lot of construction going on behind the Capitol... How much time did you spend in DC? And was that late in the year?

It was a stop over leg of a longer vacation. We did Hershey, PA, Washington DC, Myrtle Beach SC, Charlotte NC (to see my brother), Gettysburg PA. One of the best vacations we have had.

I was in Washington in May '87, which gets a longer time ago each year, of course. Beautiful city, good looking family.

McTag - Wowser! What a beautiful head of hair you have! It looks like it is soft, too. That is the way my mom has grayed. I'm hoping to have inherited that.

I am going to use that photo as a screensaver. Then, if anyone ever comes over my house and sees the photo and asks, "Who are those people, Gus?", I can respond, "Those are my friends."

They will be incredulous that I would know such beautiful people and the incredulity will turn to suspicion and finally disbelief and they will walk away, convinced that I was lying, but, who am I kidding? No one would ever come over here. Dag and Slappy will simply grace my screen, only occasionally piquing the curiosity of my cat.
