My dad's coyote, his name is Billy Jack. They've had him since he was just weeks old and was raised up sleeping on thier bed till her started tearing apart the house. Mom made dad build him a pen in the backyard.

So, Billy Jack resides outside now. He's somewhat mean, my father has to handle him with welding gloves...lol Mom however, can pretty much do what she wants with him, but she won't go in the pen anymore...he's gotten to big for her to handle.

Oh my gosh, a coyote as pet? What do they feed him? Rodents?
Let's hope he doesn't get out when kids are around or other pets...

The picture of your niece is very precious.

Naww...he eats dog food, plus he gets treats just like every other pampered pooch.

Yeah, he's in a 6ft tall enclosure, everyone in their community knows about him, and to not stick their fingers in the fence...lol

He's never gotten out. My kids will stand back from the fence and admire him, but we all know better than to try to touch. He'll snarl at ya...and show them teeth, and he's a thief.

They were featured in Arkansas's Big Newpaper a few years ago, loads of pictures and a nice article written up on my father and mother titled, "Dances with Coyote..." lol We got a big kick out of it...

I've been to the arts and crafts school today

http://i17.tinypic.com/7wp7whl.jpg

Actually, that's a museum, situated - besides two more museums, a cinema, a concert hall, schools etc - in a former cotton mill.

Nevertheless, I thought that I could do some art, too

That was quite eshausting - so I had a nap afterwards

Someone found today my name/address on the internet.

Well, on a website about a navy boat named like a neighbour town.
Which was similar to the one I've been on.

And this person was the same as I on the same minesweeper - so here's able seaman Walter half-naked drinking duty-free limonade ... Embarrassed

(Just in case: you can see a small part of my berth as well  )
[Actually it would be my 'former berth': at the time the photo was taken - mid-1970 - I had a larger one. Photo was taken in Arcachon, France)

Nice pictures everyone. Dagmar, you're definitely your mother's daughter.
You have great resemblance to your mother, more so than your sister.

Wow Walter, you look like a very young boy there. How old were you
when that picture was taken?

MMS, Billy Jack is just gorgeous! I'm wondering if you might do me a favor--I'm always looking for photos of different kinds of animals that I don't get a chance to see in person, to use in my artwork (I use the photos as reference for drawings; I don't copy the photos, but just use elements of them), and I love it when I can get pictures from someone that I know. Do you think you might be able to email me some photos of him? Let me know if you'd be willing... Smile

Taken out my back door recently. This type of snow event has repeated itself about every four days this winter. It's been brutal.

I know, I know, we forgot to bring in the cushions.... too late now... they are rock solid as the snow has melted and reappeared five times...
