Diane, old and washed out? To me you have always been glowing - and I don't even want to mention your eyes...

I agree, Urs. Especially about her eyes! Like sea glass laying in the sun.

That's it, littlek, I couldn't find a good way to describe Diane's eyes. Sea glass in the sun... very good!

I know I was mesmerized the first time I met her. I was trying to get a shot of her eyes and she was running away from the camera! ha! It was funny (to me anyway).

Thank you! I fully agree Laughing And she is smart, too. She is seven and takes English classes. She knows a lot of words already. Her first complete sentence was 'I don't know'. Now, that's an important one!

Her father - my nephew - is extremely intelligent. And very annoying at times... Unfortunately for us, he and Lisa's mother are divorced. This picture was taken in March 2007 - it was the first time I saw her after her christening. But it felt like we have known each other forever. I am very proud of her.

What did she do?

I'll let her know, Gus. She will be thrilled.

She is a good kid. Isn't that enough these days?

CalamityJane and urs53 great pictures Very Happy

Diane
I have never seen your picture but old, washed out? I doubt that since I don't feel that way about people as they age. Heck everyone ages but real beauty comes from within. I really believe that too. I have grey in my hair from age and I have wrinkles on my face but it doesn't bother me.

I realize this may not be the time or place, but is there a possibility of getting a few photos of Calamity Jane in the nude?

It's just something I've been thinking about.

Thanks in advance.

Yikes! Now I'm embarrassed. Littlek and Urs, you are sweet indeed and yes, my eyes have always been my best feature. I doubt, however, that you have seen me without makeup. I'm not complaining, that is just the way things are, so I try to find products that help add a little color since I don't like wearing lots of makeup all the time.

TTH, my life has been happier since I turned 60 than it has ever been before. I love the wrinkles, mainly laugh lines, and the wisdom I've gained and the love I have found. Old age is priceless, certainly to me!

Urs, your great niece is one of those kids you just want to hug. And soz is right, you can see the intelligence in her face. I hope you get to spend more time with her (maybe without your nephew?).

Diane, I was waiting for you to show up here! Would you like some of my freckles for some colour?

Lisa and her mother live about seven hours away from us. But I think we will see more of her now that she visited the south and liked us Laughing

Help a friend out.

Gus, darlin' just keep dreaming. I doubt there are any nekkid photos of CJ with the possible exception of baby pics.

Wish I'd had a camera when my second son was born. He had a bowel movement just befoe he came out. He looked like a beat up little prize fighter. After he was cleaned up, he was a beautiful blond with blue-green eyes. Whew!!

It's nice to have something like that to hold over your kid. Hee, hee, cackle.
