It looks like the weather was quite nice for a parade. Did you enjoy yourself? Did anyone throw you candy?

Yes, the weather has been perfect for quite a while now - sunshine and
blue skies. Lots of candies were handed out, yes, but unfortunately we had to leave early, as our dog panicked with all the noise around us.

You have a very relaxing, carefree life, Jane, and for that you should be very thankful.

There are people, such as myself, who are slowly being crushed beneath the wheel, whose very existence is one torturous event after another, and who can only dream of a parade on a sunny day.

But, dammit, Jane.... I SHALL OVERCOME!!

Yes you shall overcome and get into the sunny side too, gustav.
Just wait for the sign.

In the meantime, here is Max when he was still happy about the
parade.

I like seeing recent photos of your daughters, CJ and shewolf. Here are recent photos of my daughters (Annie and Katrina):

Nice impressions, CL!

We find such parades here only in amusement parks and are stuck otherwise in our traditional christmas markets ...

We've been to one today, in suburbian Dortmund, a small village christmas market just over the weekend.

The kindergarten of our godchild's sister (as well his former one) presented some songs there and a little play.

But the little one was sooo nervous at first

I'm not going to post here the complete "photo story", but finally she succeeded to go on the stage ... with the help of many

Very nice pictures, Walter.
Incidentially, my daughter was singing at the German christmas party
today, and she was on stage with all the little ones too. Unfortunately,
I forgot my camera at home..... Sad
