That photo was taken last Sunday afternoon in Ware/Hertfordshire, showing some of the 18th century gazebos on the River Lea:
If I'd a known, I'd have bought you a pint there, Walter.

Diane said that Walter's driving made her feel relaxed even on the Audobon.(Autobahn)
Great pictures, guys. Did George Washington sleep in that bed?

That is not what Diane told me, Letty. Even Lord Ellpus sounds concerned.
Anyway, everyone thinks Walter is a very nice guy.

He isn't driving - he's flying too low.

Oh what a beautiful thread. I haven't been as regular on a2k as in the past, so have missed some lovely posts.
CJ, that must be your daughter, she looks like a young version of you.
We should have a scanner. We have a picture of Dys and his mother taken when he was about 8 or 9. It is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. When he was little, his hair was so blond that it looked almost snowy white. It is definitely an 'awwww' photo.

Actually, Steve, Walter and McTag got together - and to be more precise, FionaB and Missus Steve at Saturday evening as well.
The best portraits of me are done when I fly low. That's why I do it.

This photo got some good critics just hours after I've published it on a photographer's website - can't be that bad, it seems (though I've mad some better around there but not loaded yet):

I prefer lightish image, and I use fast lenses, e.g., 30mm F1.4 or 50mm F1.8 indoors.

Or me either. If she was relaxed, she'd given up.
And I like Walter too.

That's a matter of ... money? (I would like to have such lenses as well, sure!)

No, I do not think the nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens is very expensive.

I don't like the Nikkor lenses very much.
But since my 50mm has only 2.8 ...

I love the light pastel vision of the photo by Francis.
