China and Term Limits

It seems the folks over in China are pushing for an end to term limits for their president. This is evidently in conjunction with a power grab intended to (probably) give current president Xi Jinping the presidency for life.

Censors kicked into high gear and actually banned the letter N and Winnie the Pooh, particularly for the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo.

See:

Because citizens of China can't access Google without a VPN, but they can come here, we might get an influx of folks looking to learn English or figure out a way to leave.

So brace yourselves, and don't forget to eat a Western breakfast.

@jespah,
I guess they'll soon be making computers and cellphones without an n.

I'd read about the matter in China and sadly, frighteningly, I began to fret that a certain orange-skinned, weird hair creature might want to follow suit on abandoning term limits.
