I WILL
Beatles
(P. McCartney/J. Lennon)

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely life time
If you want me to I will

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart

And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
Ah, you know I will
I will

La la la la la la
La la la la la la la

A classic love song

ENDLESS LOVE

(Lionel Richie and Diana Ross)

My love,
There's only you in my life
The only thing that's bright

My first love,
You're every breath that I take
You're every step I make

And I
(I-I-I-I-I)
I want to share
All my love with you
No one else will do...

And your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes
They tell me how much you care
Ooh yes, you will always be
My endless love

Two hearts,
Two hearts that beat as one
Our lives have just begun

Forever
(Ohhhhhh)
I'll hold you close in my arms
I can't resist your charms

And love
Oh, love
I'll be a fool
For you,
I'm sure
You know I don't mind
Oh, you know I don't mind

'Cause you,
You mean the world to me
Oh
I know
I know
I've found in you
My endless love

Oooh-woow
Boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom, boom, booom
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom

Oooh, and love
Oh, love
I'll be that fool
For you,
I'm sure
You know I don't mind
Oh you know-
I don't mind

And, YES
You'll be the only one
'Cause NO one can deny
This love I have inside
And I'll give it all to you
My love
My love, my love
My endless love

Here's a few tunes for consideration to stoke the embers:

1. "Sail Away", Neil Young;

2. "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight", Bob Dylan;

3. "Sexual Healing", Marvin Gaye;

4. "I Will", the Beatles <ditto from posting above>;

5. "Angie", the Rolling Stones;

6. "Straight Through Your Heart (Like A Cannonball)", Van Morrison;

7. "I'm Sticking With You", the Velvet Underground;

8. "Blue Motel Room", Joni Mitchell;

9. "Going To California", Led Zeppelin; and

10. "Cruising", Smokey Robinson.

There are two great versions of this song, one by George Jones and Tammy Wynette and another by Leon Russel:

Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
I'll lay around this shack
'Til the mail tain comes back
An' I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms

I ain't gonna work on the railroad
(You ain't gonna work at all if you can help it !)
No, I ain't gonna work on the farm
I'll lay around this shack
'Til the mail train comes back
An' I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms

Roll in my sweet baby's arms
Roll in my sweet baby's arms
I'll lay around this shack
'Til the mail train comes back
An' I'll roll in my sweet baby's arms

Ohhhhhh

What about Aretha Franklin belting out "Natural Woman"?

That would be good.

For those of us who are partial to classical music, how about Ravel's Bolero? That piece would serve as a great backdrop for a relevant Valentine's Day, er......................activity! Very Happy

Here's a good one!

Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Whatever colors you have in your mind
I'll show them to you and you'll see them shine

Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Until the break of day, let me see you make him smile
His clothes are dirty but his hands are clean
And you're the best thing that he's ever seen

Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Why wait any longer for the world to begin
You can have your cake and eat it too
Why wait any longer for the one you love
When he's standing in front of you

Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Stay, lady, stay, stay while the night is still ahead
I long to see you in the morning light
I long to reach for you in the night
Stay, lady, stay, stay while the night is still ahead

I read Maurice Ravel was scoffed at and ridiculed by the critics of his day after Bolero was first played in public.

I believe they criticized the piece for being redundant. It was a masterpiece!

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You

That is a great slow comfortable sex song.

By the way, Paulaj, you won the "How Long Can You Make My Thread Get?" competition. I believe you owe us a filthy story or something, don't you?
