It'll soon be here and there's nothing like giving your lover a CD of romantic music along with the bargain box of chocolates and the wilted rose.
I'll start with some favorites and you all can help out. My CD's average 17-19 tunes and cover design ideas are important of course.
So let's get started!
From the VDay scrooge: how about Tenacious D's Kielbasa? Heehee.
Are we going for horny or corny or cool?
How about Hot Blood by Lucinda Williams?
Just a shakin' in my knees, just a cold chill
Don't know what it is, just call it a thrill
Just a lump in my throat, just hot blood
Don't know what it is, some call it love
Well I saw you out in your car
You had the top down, you were drivin' real slow
Well I saw you in the grocery store
Buyin' tomatoes for a casserole
Well I saw you in the laundrymat
Washin' your clothes, gettin' all the dirt out
Well I saw you with your car broke down
Fixin' your flat with a tire iron

the bear sings heart of the matter...and I'm not selling anything so please don't delete.....it is not a commercial site in that respect.....
All suggestions are invited.
See, what's so cool about this is you pick and choose for your SO.
littlek and Kicky, we'll help you make one for the one you're trying to seduce.
If anybody needs help on burning your CD...let me know.
Bear - I get an error when I try to link to that address.
Bear...I love the way you do that song! Hey everyone...we are so lucky to be able to include a home grown cut!
que lindo ehBeth. podrias darnos unos canciones Latinos?
Horny: Closer To God
Corny: When I'm 64
Cool: Something (in the way she moves)
Phoenix...never seen that one...lovely and to the point
Nice firing pattern Boomer...I like it
Can't have a love paean without Lucinda...That's definitely going on mine K!
Lucinda writes great lyrics both about love and heart break.
I figured out Bear's link - what a trip!
There can't be a Valentine's CD without Marvin Gay and
"Let's get it on"
there's no romance in this house without some Roy Forbes to ease my soul
Quote:Woh Me
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a gentle helping hand
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a lovin' understanding
Late at night
when the moon is shining bright
And you're shivering cold
You don't have to turn on your electric blanket
Cos I'll be there for you to hold
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a gentle helping hand
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a lovin' understanding
Late at night
When you're tossing and turning
And your pillow just won't fit your head right
Don't get upset
I'll be right here beside you
And I'm quite prepared to hold you tight
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a gentle helping hand
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a lovin' understanding
Late at night
When the wind is blowing
And the rain is pounding down on your roof
Don't let annoy you
Listen to the melody
Come over here
I've got some love for you
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a gentle helping hand
Woh me, I'm comin' to you
With a lovin' understanding
ROY FORBES (SOCAN)
Yeah CJ....that and some Barry White and there's a trail of clothes all the way to the bedroom
I'm ging to include this chestnut in honor of Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters....
I know (I know)
You belong - to somebody new
But Tonight you belong to me...
Although (Although)
We're apart - your part of my heart..
And tonight you belong to me...
Way down by the stream..
How sweet it will seem..
Once more just to dream
In the moonlight...
My honey I know...
With the dawn..that you will be gone..
But tonight you belong to me...
Way down way down along the stream..
How very very sweet it will seem..
Once more just to dream in the silvery moonlight...
My honey I know...
With the dawn..that you will be gone..
But tonight you belong to me...
Just to little old me...
