Do we know why we have so many guests?

At the time of writing this, there are 3 named users (including me), 2 hidden users and 98 guests.

Are they members who don't always log on? What's the point of reading and not joining - they must be dying to post on at least one of the forums.

Tarah, I don't log in when I read A2k from work. Wouldn't be prudent. I suspect other do that as well. That said, I'm sure that many of these folks are checking this site out to see if they want to join or not.

Most of the traffic on almost any site is from guests.

Similarly there are usually more readers than authors in the brick and mortar world as well.
