Turkic emigration took place mainly a few hundred years before the first year of the Islamic calendar. Records tell that they were in the area far north to the Chinese nothern border before the emigration.

Turkic people entered in the region now called Turkestan (originally persian term, not turkic) after around 4 C.E. then expanded westward.
The main dwellers of the Turkestan before the emigration are said to have been Caucasoids.

huns?
im turkish ,, we originate from central asia ,, we entered anatolia in 1071 as nomads migrating for richer soils ,, our history books say there were the huns who are our ancestors ,, but the huns and mongols were enemies ,, are the huns related to the mongols ,, or are the different , , my bloodline can be traced all the way bak 2 the selcuk empire, (kahraman ogullari) which was a colony when the selcuks broke up and after was taken over by the ottomans ,,
