Sally likes licorice jelly beans, but not vanilla or lemon. She gets a package of 15 jelly beans, 5 of each flavor.
How many jelly beans does she have to remove before she can guarantee getting a licorice?
11 - worst case is she removes all vanilla and lemon before removing the first licorice.

At ten, it is possible that she will have drawn all five vanilla, all five lemon, and all five licorice will still be in the bag.
