Ok I'm sure almost everyone is already familar with the classical make 4 gallons out of a 5 and 3 gallion bucket and their varients.

Recently a friend poped me with an even # varient. After being stumpted for almost a week now I'm looken to save a little face and get some help Razz

Anyways the key elements in this are:

2 Buckets:

6 gallon & 2 gallon

You need to make exactly 7 gallons between the two.

you can only use the 2 buckets and your own ingenuity.

There is prob an easy solution to this, but I have yet to figure it Razz I'm just dumb I guess ^^

How about put 4 gall in the six gall container, fill the two gall and tip it at 45 degrees over the six gall thereby tipping one gall into it making 5 gall+two in the two gall.

That's the kind of ingenuity it will take because you can only get even totals with standard methods.
