Apropos of nothing in particular...
I heard this Warren Zevon song yesterday and it reminds me of Cav...he's always in my heart

(Warren Zevon & Jorge Calderon)

Shadows are falling and I'm running out of breath
Keep me in your heart for awhile

If I leave you it doesn't mean I love you any less
Keep me in your heart for awhile

When you get up in the morning and you see that crazy sun
Keep me in your heart for awhile

There's a train leaving nightly called when all is said and done
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-li-li-lo
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-li-li-lo
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Sometimes when you're doing simple things
around the house
Maybe you'll think of me and smile

You know I'm tied to you like the buttons on
your blouse
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Hold me in your thoughts, take me to your dreams
Touch me as I fall into view
When the winter comes keep the fires lit
And I will be right next to you

Engine driver's headed north to Pleasant Stream
Keep me in your heart for awhile

These wheels keep turning but they're running out
of steam
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-li-li-lo
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-li-li-lo
Keep me in your heart for awhile

Keep me in your heart for awhile

The first cartoon is my personal favorite - I'm going to make a poster of it and stick it on my wall - I've got a feeling it might help me cut down smoking. Smile

Really? Confused That's so ridiculous! Hell, it was just a stringray doing what stingrays do! Rolling Eyes Steve Irwin was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bad luck, that's all it was. And it's not as if he was some sort of saint, for heaven's sake!

Germaine Greer, in the meantime is getting all sorts of flack here in Oz for an article she wrote about Steve Irwin in the Guardian:

Irwin death, animal world revenge: Greer
September 5, 2006 - 11:34AM/the AGE

The animal world has taken revenge on self-deluded animal tormentor Steve Irwin, according to expatriate Australian academic and writer Germaine Greer. ... <cont>
