@Walrus,
Welcome. When the LC comes out, someone who notices it posts it here. Then we start chiming in with ideas about how to solve it. If you look back over the last couple of pages, you see where various people have thrown out ideas about what it could be, starting with guesses as to what punctuation mark it might be to spelling out the pattern of vowels and consonants, and some of my suggestions about which combinations of consonants might make sense at the beginning and end of the phrase.
Along the way, people start figuring out the answer. Some people like to just give out the answer, while other like to give out hints, but encourage people to put in some work to solve it themselves. Today, someone gave out the specific hint that the punctuation mark was a full stop (or period), but with a puzzle like this, it is kind of hard to think up appropriate hints that don't just give it away. One person said that it wasn't a place or game. My thought would be to emphasize that it is related to the prize for the competition.
So, come next week, feel free to jump in with any ideas you have for working out the solution. If you decide to post the answer, be prepared for a few flames. A few posts ago, I suggested letting the community decide whether they like posting the full answer or not by voting thumbs up or thumbs down on the posts that give out the answer - I don't know if people will decide to do that or not. If multiple people vote thumbs down, then you won't see the post with the answer unless you find the little link that says "click to view". This might be the best of both worlds, as those lurkers that want to make a little effort can still find the answer while it won't be out visible to everyone that passes by. Of course, if lots of people like to see the answer posted, then they can vote thumbs up to cancel out those that don't want to see it.
Oh, I would note that a few weeks ago, someone posted a random answer, no one said much of anything and it turned out to be the most popular answer submitted for the LC that week. So people should generally plan to check answers given out here, as they aren't always correct.
