At a certain shop, a Polarchuck is available for 412 Neopoints, a sock puppet is 81 Neopoints, and a hot dog is 965 Neopoints.

How many Neopoints would a candle cost? Please enter only a number with no other information.

@starleogirl09,
I don't think there's a shop at all...

@starleogirl09,
don't think the shop matters....

my gut instinct tells me maybe the letters are assigned a np value
safe assumption??

Where would those be the prices? A hot dog is listed at 150 nps for it's price and a Polarchuck is listed at 3049. There is no consistency in the price variance that I can see.

I thought of Igloo Garage Sale but the hot dog is expensive. Tarla's shop of Mystery? I have never bought anything there. I think it makes sense that possibly the letters have a certain value.

@JustJuli,
Ive noticed that polarchuck and sock puppet both have 10 letters, hot dog and candle both have 6.

Also, I noticed that the NP amounts contain all of the numbers from 1-10 except 3, 7 and 0...

Dont know if it means anything yet.

@K311Y,
the 1 is used twice, but i doubt that is significant

@K311Y,
I think its each letter has a value because there's no item called a sock puppet unless a tattered sock puppet counts...

I am looking at that too. Polarchuck and sock puppet have a lot of common letters. Hot dog is much more expensive but has less letters. Polarchuck has one of the o's and an h. Nothing is clicking here.

@JustJuli,
well, they all have a game related to them. Polarchuck has snowmuncher, hot dog has hot dog hero and sock puppet has splat a sloth sort of

@KoopaTroopa,
Polarchuck 412
sock puppet 81
hot dog 965

taking into account the letter/value idea...a hot dog would have to be worth so much because of either the d or the g having a high point value...those are the only letters not in polarchuck or sock puppet...

discerning point values might be hard tho...if it wasn't for 'sock puppet' not being an item I'd say maybe take a look at rarity numbers as well...but oh well

@JustJuli,
I was thinking adding the letters up. Maybe each letter has a value.
p+o+l+a+r+2c+...+k=412
s+o+c+k+3p+...+t=81
h+t+d+g+2o=965
c+a+n+...+e=?

@JustJuli,
I was thinking that maybe each digit of the np amount represented a specific letter in the corresponding word...ie: the "4" in 412 nps would correspond to the 4th letter in polarchuck, "a"...

But then I got to hot dog and it doesnt have a 9th letter.
