OK enough with the encrypting, lol..

i took (6x2)+3=15
(15x2)+5=35
(35x2)+7=77
(77x2)+9=163
(163x2)+11=337
ummm wth with 337?

right but do you see the pattern that actually exists between the first 4 numbers? 6,15,35,77

but in this case it can't continue, so it must be wrong.

i still am clueless about how to work it out though. ugh.

You do have a pattern there but it is different from the one I used. And I *think* your pattern doesn't work for this puzzle because 337 is not an LC round. Look at each round number separately as if it was in a multiplication table. As in A times B = 6; C times D = 15; E times F = 35, etc.
