Anyone recieved mails about the LC yet?
Hehe, never mind.. I just got the mail myself =)
Not in the top 250 this time, though.. We DID take an awfull long time figuring this one out. I'm surprised the NP prize was so low, I though a lot fewer people would have gotten it.
You won the Lenny Conundrum!
Dear PDiddy, Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 259). You have won 462 NP!
Thank You Dweezy:) & 2 everyone else who helped solved round 259.
Dear KiahiMakai,
Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 259). You have won 462 NP!
Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Speak Tyrannian, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar!
Yours Sincerely,
The Neopets Team!
Oh yeah first 250! Gold trophy!

YAY! Thanks everyone! It was my first real LC win but I got the silver trophy... any explanation?
I got in the first 250 and got a silver trophy

my brother guessed 30 just before me and he got a gold trophy darn!

Oh so your trophy depends on how quickly you answer... Thanks for that.
I answered at 12:10 when I posted my theory here, I think most people waited until dweezy confirmed later, which would be the reason for the my gold and your silver trophy.
I got in the top 250 but still received a silver trophy. I previously had a silver one so isn't it supposed to be like LC Champion x2?

Aaah right. Thanks for the explanation.
I hope I can get gold this time!

You only get the x? on your trophy when it is gold and then you get another gold I think...
I went on a hunch rather than a sure thing, i've been trying for gold for ages so I just thought i'd risk it.

Hmmm, I just went for it when someone said that they could get it if they ignored the possition of the letters on the tiles. Was that you?
I try to avoid thinking logically about these things since TNT rarely do, so yeah I ignored the tile positions and looked more for tyrannian themed letter combinations.
yeah it gets really frustrating trying to upgrade your trophy because realistically you have to be one of the first 50 in order to get gold

isnt it the first 10 get gold? than the next 90 gets silver and the next 400 gets bronze?
that would be impossible seeing as how only thr first 250 ppl get a trophy. 400 ppl cant get a bronze trophy!
awful late and the lenny's not out yet.. sigh
A Chomby was walking down a path one day when Jhudora appeared in front of it. "Solve this puzzle, and you may pass," she said.
Suppose you have a very long steel bar, with a regular pentagonal cross-section where each side of the pentagon is 2 cm in length. This bar will be suspended vertically over a very deep chasm. At the bottom end of the steel bar, there is a spherical steel weight with a diameter of 50 cm. Going up the bar, at every 3 metre increment, there is a spherical steel weight with a diameter of 30cm.
If the density of the steel is exactly 7.8 g/cm3, the steel can withstand a tensile stress of 400 MPa, and gravity is 9.81m/s2, what is the maximum possible length, in metres, that the bar can extend without breaking? Round down to the nearest metre, submit only a number (with no additional or extraneous information), and disregard any deformation of the bar or any other forces acting on the bar.
