For Timmy to have 18 nieces and nephews, the birth order is important.

I have worked this out so far:

Dad
sister A has 4 children, 22 grandchildren
sister B has 3 children, 12 grandchildren
Sister C has 2 children, 5 grandchildren
Dad has 1 child, 1 grandchild

Mum
sister D has 4 children, 22 grandchildren
sister E has 3 children, 12 grandchildren
sister F has 2 children, 5 grandchildren
Mum has 1 child, 1 grandchild

Therefore Timmy two eldest aunts (Dad's sister A and Mum's sister D)
both have the same number of descendants

From LC: "which of my living female blood relatives themselves has the most living descendants?"

What do you think?
And what is best way to answer?

Well I rushed in and put the wrong answer, however, some other suggestions.
I think you can assume the monocer's father's children are counted the same as the monocer's mother's children - since both of them share the same children.
There is no mention of the monocer having children, but to get 18 nephews and nieces he must have the maximum number of siblings, which is 3 not including himself, with 5, 6 and 7 nieces and nephews from his brothers/sisters. One thing that threw me here was the question says he has brotherS and sisterS but I couldn't get a family of 5children amongst his family or those of his aunts.
Anyway, that would mean one of his aunts has 4 children and they have 4,5,6 and 7 children in their turn.
So I am guessing the answer is aunt, rather than mother.
Just an idea.

Hello, new here... Found this site and just loved it! I got really frustrated for not knowing how they got to some of those answers...

So, heres´s my doubt...

Wouldn´t that mean their own children?

I´m thinking this... So, his parents are the older siblings of each family, so they have the same number of children (obviously, being parents and Neopets being such a prude site...). this means the Monocerous have 3 siblings himself.

Using the formula they give us I got this:
1st children has 4 children itself
2nd children has 5 children itself
3rd children has 6 children itself
4th children has 7 children itself

Considering he has 18 nieces and nephews, he is the older children, and this places his younger sibling to have the most descendants (7, against to the 4 his mother has).

Of course, I might be getting all wrong and the answer be his mother... After all we don´t even know if his younger sibling is a she...

Oh, and by the way... English is not my primary language, sorry for any mistakes...

If the answer is indeed aunt... how would TNT distinguish which aunt it is? Would you say "second aunt" or "third aunt" or something like that? That's another reason why I think the answer is the Monoceraptor's mother. You see, there are a bunch of aunts, but only one mother.

2+2=4.

kissychick was right. I confused cousins with nieces and nephews.

Monoceraptor is eldest of 4 and has 4 children himself and 5 + 6 + 7 = 18 nieces and nephews

Answer is Monoceraptor's mother

aces rules, u're right in the sibling order placement & working solution, but ur last step shld be 5+6+7=18. Smile
