Yeah, the user lookup is a TRICK, people.

The code on the LC page asks you to look at the PET'S WEBPAGE.

What objection do you have to the solution that was posted about three hours before your message? Or is your browser broken and you can't see or follow the "Previous" link near the top of every forum page...?

Does anyone else feel this week wasn't up to the standard of recent Lenny Conundrums? The alphabet was just follow the directions (with a brief google for the Grand Bogen), the code substitution was the most obvious possibility, and the resulting question just required another quick google. Just plug and chug, with no real thought or insight necessary.

And yet, how many couldn't figure it out, even after being given the solution? Rolling Eyes

What is the "it" that you don't "get"?

(Since the solution to the latest "Lenny" has already been posted, it's reasonable to assume that you are not referring to that.)

Please be complete. Thank you.

Eliz.

Personally I found this week's LC really drawn out (especially when I searched on Neo for the grand bogen's name and kept coming up with nothing) - seeing as Neo don't allow us to mention offsite links on there, I find it odd that the LC requires either an exceptional knowledge of Neopian characters, or the use of Google....

ah well, maybe that's just me not getting the hang of the LCs at the moment Laughing

Good point. A few months back, they used to have a Google search of Neopets available when you didn't find anything with their search, which is pretty pathetic - doesn't really search the site, just the databases of items, pets, games and users - and they even exclude some of the items. You would think a search of the Neopedia would search the content as well as the titles, but it doesn't even do that as far as I can tell. If it did, you could search on Grand Bogen and come up with the article on Rufus. I guess you could use the search on the Neopets toolbar, if you have it installed.

Dear alan,

Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 239). You have won 748 NP!

Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Eraser of the Dark Faerie Stamp, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar!

Yours Sincerely,
The Neopets Team!
