msspalding, elybelly really did lay it out pretty much completely...

A hexidecimal color is the code used in html to make fonts, backgrounds, etc. have a specifical color - for instance, the color of the text is black which in hexidecimally speaking is 000000

Hexidecimal colors are made up of 6 letters/numbers sometimes mixed up.

Each line of the conumdrum is actually a hexidecimal color.
If you figure out what color it is, and write the color out just as it is shown on the puzzle the answer will be pretty obvious....

The page that elybelly gave out is pretty good...

I did it in note pad - because I am a geek like that.

Here is what I got :
COLOR

Good luck

I got a weird code like 9f3232 but I don't see how that explains his mood.

The answer is NOT a color. You have to plug all the Hexadecimal Color Codes in horizontally one at a time. Keep a note of what colors you get. That will give you the answer. TIP: Write the colors down as you get them on separate lines so that they line up. That is a HUGE hint. =)

ah but it is fun to watch people squirm.. lol

seriously though...

write the names of the colors on a sheet of paper....

one color on top of the other. I know you will see the answer without giving it away too early on these boards... it seems a shame to just give it away

The new one
The new one is:

Old Cap'n Bloodhook, the captain of The Black Pawkeet, has spent the better part of the past week packing away his hoarded dubloons. He has hardly gotten any sleep.

So, you want to talk to him about last week's Lenny Conundrum, but you're not sure if you should approach him if he's not in a good mood. So you ask one of his deckhands how he's feeling.

"I can't really tell you," the deckhand says. "If he overhears me talking about his mood, I'll surely be walking the plank before long." But he hands you a piece of paper with a code on it. "If you can figure this out," he says, "you'll learn how he's feeling right now."

How is Old Cap'n Bloodhook feeling?

Do you not agree with the solution discussed over the last four or five pages, and posted four messages above yours...?

I've decided lots of people are incapable of reading. Instead of reading through the previous posts, they'd rather fill up the boards making it difficult for others to find what they need.
The question of course is whether to just ignore it, or to say something. I think both methods have the same outcome: The spammer ignores it and goes along their merry way pretending boards don't exist until they post, or the spammer gets angry and winds up filling the board with obscenities and namecalling.
So that is the real conundrum; what is the appropriate way to deal with spammers?

Now, does anyone think they may have made it into the first 250? I think my odds are pretty good, but I never really know with the lc.
